Went to theodores Blues and bbq in downtown Springfield to meet some friends, took son and his family to. Saw a cool mural on the side of the building. It was a cold as shit morning this morning...34 degrees so I waited till 9am and it was 43 degrees, lol. Got home topped off the tank, splash of star tron and put the tender on. Nice murals and report. Man, I hope my knee (and the weather) lets me get one ride in before the bike is tucked away.

Springfield was the original home of the Indian, might be the reason for the mural? One of the bikes looks to be an Indian?

I used to have friends in Rochester and Manchester. Used to fish with the Manchester Fly Fishing Club. I miss my trips there.

Nah...they come up for skiing. However I have a friend that owns a fishing guide business called river excitement. He does floats down the Connecticut river for small mouth bass.

I have a NYS guides license. Used to float the West Branch Delaware. Gave it up. Now surf fish. Fall is Montauk time. Not for me this year cause of knee.

Weather has cleared off today and my Kidney stone finally passed (man those things really hurt) so might ride the bike down to the tavern tonight for my Friday night get together with the other guys.

BD, your ride looked like a fun one and an interesting one. Glad it worked out for you.

F/B 128, I live about 10 miles from Manchester. Do you remember Seneca Castle? My auto shop is there, started 38 years ago by my father.

Liked the mural . . . I've painted a few in my time, all in Monterey, California in the 80s. I often wonder if they have survived the elements.
