I got the 35 watt draw LED light system. Not the 50 watt

    (3) 35W vs. 55W

You might have seen 35W and 55W xenon conversion kitss advertised on websites. The 35W xenon conversion kits use 35W of power to produce xenon light. The 55W use more power to produce more light. The ballasts are a bit different but the bulbs are the same. The 55W xenon conversion kits cost generally more than the 35W xenon conversion kits.

This is a question of personal choice. If you need maximum light output, if you drive on very dark roads, you will want to install a 55W xenon conversion kit for more lighting power.

Then you choose the INtensity of the bulb. The K or like 6000K
YOu deceide how much Intensity of the light you want.
I got the 6000 K, trying not to have the cars flash their lights at me.
My buddy did the same thing.
He went back and bought a 8000 K bright high beam bulb.
If he don't dim it, cars flash their lights at him.

I wanted less draw off my battery, and less power to power it.

    :roflmao:12v:rolleyes:;)

The 55watt lights draw 4.58 amps and the 33watt draw 2.75 amps

In your SE bike you already have the dual bulb.
If you email Xenon bargains and tell them you have a SE bike with a dual bulb they will tell you the kit go get.
The kit is Plug and Play. You choose wheather you want the 35 watt kit or the 55 watt kit.
Then YOu choose how many k you want. They have a brightness chart on their site.
You can take yer headlight out and look at the bulbs.
I think a H-9 bulb will go into your headlight of both the high beam and the low beam. I ordered mine in the H-9 bulb cause it was suppose to be brighter.
I used a small piece of cardboard and tie strapped the ballast on each side of the speaker suppport bracket.
    Installation was very easy.
    Battery draw is very low.

Is that on a regular bulb, the truck bulb or HID xenon that has ballasts ?

Add them to your engine guard like many with Roadglides do. Better lighting and your seen better by oncoming traffic, but you do what you want.
That is if you do not have the lowers.

+1 All the light I need. With this statement CB you should never argue for spots.. Hey on a bike like yours I think spots look good. I am not discounting their function. But as you said, I have two headlights, all the light I need. ;)

HID requires a ballast relay wire to power connections and on RG you have to buy two sets.

If you want hi/lo it's a mores expensive kit. Further the stock reflectors are not designed for HID. You can do it but you loose focus of beam and light.

The HD dual bulb is HID design

The LED requires no wires to power or ground no ballast no relays. Plug n play

As to no seeing difference hi lo yeah it's a phone picture not exactly grat for that but in person it is significant

    Doesn't matter.....wattage divided by voltage = amperage...55w/12v=4.58 amps

Use the ballast wattage to figure out the amps of the HID xenon...
