My Daymaker arrived today from Surdykes. $475(including $47.00 shipping). Dealer here wants $584.00 (plus tax). They is nucking futs if they think I would pay that much!! Freaking Bandits is what they is...Bandits I tell you.
Greedy, shiftless, bottom feeding Bandits!!! :fight:

Hope to install and adjust the light soon will post up when done.

Nope that's price for light only, installation is extra. Thats really typical for Hawaii on just about anything not just bike parts. We pay $4 for a loaf of bread. $5 for a gallon of milk. We always get nailed on shipping charges over here. We call it the paradise tax. Now all the local merchants are bitchin about out of state internet sales, they wanna charge state tax on that too.

Bandits I tell you....Greedy, shiftless bottom feeding bandits!!!!

That's pretty high Tariff taxes. Wife said she just bought a 1/2 gallon of milk the other day for $1.00 and no it's not out dated. Guess you gotta pay to live in Paradise.

Yeah but you can go to the supermarket and get fresh fish caught that day
    and fresh pineapple, mmmm..

Well you gotta consider the cost of transporting stuff,

Cost of transporting is one thing, but they nail us on it. Car and bike dealers alike...they will add on $1000 to $1500 to the price and call it "shipping charges" yet I can ship a bike to here from the west coast for under $800.
It would actually be cheaper (not counting airfare) for me to fly to the mainland, buy a bike at a dealer there and ship it back myself than buying the same bike from the dealer here. Bandits I tell you! Freaking greedy shiftless bottom feeding Bandits!!! Thats what they iz.

Better than pineapple we do get fresh mango and lychee nuts, but when it comes to fish, fresh caught fried catfish gets my vote.
