i have heard that you have to have two cables to operate the cv carb. not so. i took the cable holder that holds both cables and removed the barrels. i used jb weld to attach the two barrels together, and attach to the bracket. installed the cable and it works great. needs a bit of sanding and powder coating.....but works great!!

Is the return cable for safety? Doesn't it usually come with a return cable?

yes the return is for safety....and it does come with two cables. i dont always agree with the new tech. that is comming out of the moco these days.....just a bit old school i guess.....

got it all installed and ran it up the road.....runs pretty good, just a bit of tweeking needs to be done. i am happy with the results......now i just need to find a caliper for the front end.......

got the disc set up on the panhead....robbed an older sportster of its front brake and fabbed mounts to fit. works good. refabbed the intake as it was about 1/4 inch too short. got it all hooked up, fresh gas in the tank, fired right up and sounds really good. i was going to take pics, but batteries were dead in camera.....will take some later and post them here......gonna change the look of the pan also. no comments on the dirt and stuff ok????:D:D
