    With spring here I'd have to be in a lot of pain to have surgery

    I always put everything off

    Docs are always scaring us

    Know things need to be done. But I the doing them

    No they don't. Get it done as soon as you can. It's officially spring but it'll probably feel like winter for a while yet up where you are. Praying for a quick recovery for you.

    Thanks Josh. Getting a second opinion next week. Waiting only makes it worse. If the tendon lets go they will cut me up a lot more. And the other problems just keep growing.

    Yup, we're all gettin' older. I try to keep in shape and eat right. I think it goes a long way toward feeling better. My wife and I became vegetarians about a dozen years ago. She lost weight, and her R.A. went completely away in about 6 months, no more migraine headaches, either. My headaches went away, too, and my joints feel much better.

    Anyway, it's the hardest thing in the world to do - change one's diet. But it has worked for us. We basically stay away from caffeine, and most white sugar and white flour products, too. That still leaves a lot of other stuff to eat.

    Well, if you elect to do the surgery, I hope it goes well for you.

    I quit eating red meat. But gotta have my coffee in the morning. I see where Montana has made it legal to pick up road kill and take it home to eat.:rolleyes: god nuting like blood shot meat. :eek:

    My OL buys very Lean cut meat
    My wife is a health food nut,
    Takes all the fat off it
    Cooks a lot of baked fish
    Feeds me buffalo burgers, they are leaner than turkey
    Talked about the omega3 fish oils I take and the vitamins

    Old age is still kickin my butt
    But I don't look as o,d as redneck Chucktx

    I went to the doc he said "you are fat, you need to loose weight"
    told him I wanted a second opinion,
    doc said" ok yer ugly too but I can't fix that"

    fatboy128 get it done the sooner the better ,or you'll be down all summer worst off then you started, Yes on the second Docs ya or na , as for red meat I just told my Doc I'll just cook it longer , each to there own :D
