Cool, I won't have to worry about wiring it in because I have a 12 volt adapter in my glove box.

JB, when you get round tuit pull outer fairing, it's easy
route the power cord through the fairing under the radio, back along the backbonearm that holds the RG fairing, and up to the mount (assuming you get Iron Aces Effin Cool billet Effin Mount)

This way you can run fused power direct to a power input (camp on the socket in the glovebox) and not have cords hanging out or the doors open for it to fill up with rain water...

BTW even though CB has an eye fone he can use the iron aces and mount his to the dash of the batglide...

Anyway, if you have an iphone get the icable and connect it to the radio so you have Pandora tunes.

If you get a gps with mp3 capability, then run a separate AUX output 7mm cable from the GPS down with the power, under the fairing. Now you have two options, (assume you have HK radio)

Get the HD NIM (nav interface kit) or (Nagging Instruction kit) so you can hook up the GPS to the nim and it will voice out instructions as desired by the GPS, you will need to get a HD Zumo 660 or 665 to do this, but it's great that way you can do any input
on the radio and the nim overrides.

Or, pull the HK and do the rear aux input, it's on the sight for Iron Aces.
This way you can run a second aux in the back, plug in the GPS, set the radio to AUX
and play MP3 from the GPS, and the unit will interrupt when it's supposed to and
play through the aux on the radio.

I wired in my own rear aux to my last HK it's not hard if you can
    read, soldier, and pay attention.

The one for the car ain't made to take the vibrations that a Motorcycle puts on either.
But you can use it till it crash's.
Probably can't hear it give you directions either.

My Zumo and my Sena Smh headset will let me have directions oh.

I been doing that for years with my Zumo. Its water proof so that means no speakers unless you plug a rca cord into the HK radio.
Well I got a buddy's Sena headset. And I can hear it.
I have a pair coming in friday.
Will put them in my wifes and my helmet.
I can use Siri to call her while riding down the road . And I can listen to the music out of my Iphone too.

Things for the future man, Take em in and weight them for if you ever want to do it.

Just like tools in a tool box.

I got one. Had it hooked up, got off the bike, forgot to take the cord loose. Nearly jerked the bike off the kickstand. I blew a fuse.
I know it sounds good. But I do not like cords man.
I have a bluetooth headset. I can plug a 7 pin adapter into the cb radio spot on the console or in the passenger side and plug a Bluetooth adapter in and listen to the music from the radio, Cd, or whatever.
Git off the bike and no cords to hand and git tangled up in.

    Unbelievable :roflmao:

J&M makes a good headset that the main cord unplugs just below the helmet so you don't have that long cord dangling down

JB that will work for now run the audio out to the aux input on
the radio if you want it to speak through the radio, you can get
    remanufactured gps at compusa.com cheap.

So cheap you never need to pay for updates as they
come with a free update with purchase, just give the old
one to the wife for her car get a new one for the bike

As long as you don't leave it out in the rain you'll be fine

Get the mount from Iron aces, and the cradle for your gps
from gps city and you are done. No need for the other stuff
just posted it so you see what you can do.

For now the mount and cradle is all you need

I just saw this luggage rack on a different bike and I wasn't so sure about it. I am sure that it will work fine and all but the particular one that I looked at was kind of sloppy. (Fit Loose and wobbled). But I guess it really won't hurt anything once there is a little weight on it. Thanks HRK.

Eastern Performance carries Sena SMH10 headset on their ebay site.
You git both bluetooth headset. I've had them for over a year.
We can talk bike to bike at over 800' without a problem.
I can bluetooth my Iphone and listen to music too.
Much better than listenin to the stereo threw the speakers.

ONe day Redneck Johnny is gonna have to break down and look for a king tourpack. He can take a heck of a lot more. and he can put a luggage rack on it and get a Tbag to go on the rack.
He can do it all with the quick realease system he has now.

Here is my Limited that came with all of it on it.
And I have already used the heck out of it.

Here is where I added a tourpack on my last bike and hard vented lowers for the winter.

Just curious, can you put something around the sissy bar so you don't mar the chrome or will that mess with the integrity of how the rack attaches to the sissy bar???

I finally was able to see a bike that was equipped with this luggage rack. I have to say that it looked good and do think that this is the best option for me. Thanks for the information. Now it is just a matter of getting it. :)
