    Don't know how you pack.

The tour pac is just one thing that I can do without for a long time. ;) One can pac a lot if they do it right. sounds like that you pack right if you can get all that need with with either a Tbag or a Saddleman. ;)

:D Yeah you'll get old enough for one of them quick enough;)....I put one on the King just for the large backrest with arm rests for my girl...her back is too bad to do any miles with a regular backrest...Once it was on,it'll never come off...I hardly ever use the saddlebags now...just to stuff rain gear in mostly...YMMV...For years I just strapped a duffel bag on the back and could pack enough to last me months...again YMMV;)You can pack a lotta chit in those soft bags you're looking at too....It's just preference...I used to make fun of the geezers with the tour paks, but not any more:D

Exactly!!!!! It is a preference. I prefer not to have one. I don't care if he likes to use one or not, if that is what he likes then that is his choice and good for him. I just prefer my bike without one and so does the wife. ;)

When I get to that point in my life when I think that I need one, I will get one then but I just am not at that point yet. Just saying. Also like you said, that system that HRK showed does hold a lot of stuff, but shame on me, I am being told to take as little as possible.... :roflmao:;)

I sue my saddlebags all the time as I have the stretched ones so I can hold a little more then the standard bags.;)

Yeah they hold a lot of stuff, you'll be good to go with it as you can simply take it off the bike and into the room with you, good thing to do makes it easier.

Pack what you need to get half way, ship the dirty stuff home UPS and pick up some
new clothes at wal-mart for the return, no laundry to do on the road and you don't have to haul you skid marks in with your clean underwear...

yeah I am not so sure on the whole UPS send your cloths home thing. Red offered a washer and dryer for when we get to his place. I think that I may just take him up on that.

I am not finding that luggage rack that you had originally posted so it looks like I will be taking a ride to the dealership to look through the catalog. I hate their new web sit, I wish that they would leave the thing alone. :gah::gah:

then the web boys wouldn't have jobs LOL

Yeah sometimes the catalog is better, you should get one
to bring home, makes good reading material in the mens room...

Shipping home underwear and dirty clothes isn't a big deal
UPS Store, buy a box, load it up, $15 bucks for UPS ground
if it's a lot, not much $$, and you don't have to wash anything
on the road, plus you get to buy new stuff at Y'all Mart...

Could be, if you also shop at Vickies Secret ;)

It also doubles your room on the bike for important stuff
like scotch, cigars, tequila rum,, etc...

HOLY CRAP!!! I went to the dealer this morning to check out the catalog for the luggage rack. Not only did I find it, but they had one on hand. I now I have my Luggage Rack. I like it a lot.

Tomorrow I need to order the bags. I thought that it would be a good idea as well to pick up tow one gallon gas cans that fit perfectly inside saddlebags for my trip out to Nevada. I didn't buy them just yet but if gave a great reason reason to put some miles on. Was able to clock 220 miles today.. :D

Agreed, those cans look cool but I wouldn't put one in my saddle bag.

Very similar to the Saddlemen setup I have, and it stays firm when it's not completely full.
