Mikuni Hsr 42 Carburetor Ez Kit

    RR wondered what you decided to do, that CV is fine for a stock bike there is no real reason to buy a Mik or S&S unless you just want one.

    You might pick up a pony or two but with an 88 inch motor JMO it's only going to lighten your wallet. BTW I've done all that carb stuff and do like the Mik for throttle response and the S&S for power but the little CV does both and has better smoother power.

    If you are going to change find a used Woods cv41.5, it can handle your 88 and a very mild 95 inch bike

    Usually when you have problems going up in the mountains its because you are jetted too rich to begin with and when you get up top there isn't enough air so you go even richer.

    Set the curve right at your level and you should be fine.
