Never knew it was so hard to video somethin on the bike, The wind it pretty hard to deal with.
Here is a Video I made on my Supertrapp Stouts. You can't hear the mufflers very well over the wind noise but its a idea of how they sound.
This is the 140-65222 for 95 -99 which are suppose to be quieter than then 10-11 models. I don't have a cat , that's the reason I chose the ones I did. Didn't want the mufflers loud.

This is 0-90 and back down to 70. The mufflers are actually louder than this.

Gives you good idea of what the pipes are like when you're in the saddle..those sound pretty good..not too noisy and nine hp increase..not bad at all.

Don't mean to sould Old like Chucktx. But I wlll be 61 in August. Not going for Loud pipes.
But the Supertrapp STouts are 4" pipes. They have a good sound. And have like a 17% increase in HP which works out to around 9 hp.

Work super good with the Thunder-Max.

Suppose to have a friend that's a builder to come over this afternoon and we are going to cook on the grill and drink some Redneck Budweiser.
He's really good with the TM, going to git him to look at my Thunder-Max and see if he likes how I got everything set up.
Got a Buddy that has a house in the Austin Area and in Colorado.
He just did a set of TW6hg woods cams and ported heads and D&D 2 in 1 pipe pipes with the TM. He's got a adverage on his 97cu of 45mph from Colorado Springs to the Red river in New Mexico last week.

    Hey Cardboard,
That was a real good article that you got going. I really enjoyed the content and added knowledge. Some day people will understand that when you have a "Dresser" you want certain creature comforts and not all of us want the same. Also that Horse Power does not equal Loud all of the time, besides gutted mufflers sound like gutted mufflers.

You know V&H stuff is cheap stuff.

Got a buddy that has V&H power duals on his bike. He took them off in about a year and went with Fuel moto header stainless jackpot header pipes and got 4" fuel moto jackpot mufflers.
I just took the supertrapp stouts off my bike. They got too loud and too deep.
    Hurt my head.
Gonna go ride with the stock mufflers on.

I like the sound of my V&H Ovals so will just live with em. Think if I were to do it again might just go with Rush or Bassani slip on mufflers. The Bassani have a good sound. Stock are a bit whimpy and no power gain.
Now if we knew if we had a tapered needle or a stepped one or what size it is we could change it and gain more power. :roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:
