Hmmm. I did my civic duty. The cops are on their way.

My wife used to cop the Splenda sweetener from eateries. Then one day she got rashes and I told her so. That shirt will kill ya. Now she doesn't use it. No more rashes.

That's why a lot of places won't put the stuff on tables
anymore, you have to ask for it, people stuffing pockets
and for what, a few free sugar packets?

Imagine they wouldn't be happy if folks coming to their homes for dinner started loading up their pockets with your splenda outta the pantry LOL

Man, I'd put my foot down on that one. Not to sound naggy (but it will), but things like that are why restaurants need to charge so much for meals. If she wants to eat free, take her out to a soup kitchen once, bet your point would be made pretty quick.
Of course, you'd be sleeping outside forever, she likely wouldn't cook you another meal, might get the truck keyed... Does sound like something mine might try, though. ;)

Sure is interesting to read this from front to back, all the differing opinions on GPS are funny as heck, especially on a thread about a dipstick... Good for a few laughs how stuff wanders on here.:)

This is a thread about going "more modern". That covers more than just dipsticks.

Dipsticks? Ok we can try it again; before the storm Sandy I owned a 2005 Ford Explorer . First time I did routine under hood checks I couldn't find the auto trans fluid dipstick. Went crazy searching for it. Turns out there isn't any. There is no way for an owner to check or even add tranny fluid.

I agree. Like I said I was taken aback. My in laws/wife are worse. 2012 I took my mil and sil w/ us to nc. At the hotel we stayed at had the comp breakfast. After each breakfast all 3 would steal bananas, yogurt, sugar, juices fruit etc.. Worse sil would try steal the tp. That's when I said "enough!" Never again will I take them any where. That wasn't the worst of it either. F'd up. Mil 90,sil is in her 50's

You see this type of behavior in "modern" movies. It's like a game or a joke. Perhaps that's where people get the idea it's okay to steal.
Like little kids getting the idea to smart mouth their parents or other adults because you see it in the movies now all the time.
