Wonder if the snakes were using protection from VTD?:roflmao:
Also your question got me to thinking after I reserached it and the info was a bit of a surprise to me also. I wonder what other "additives" are used to gain that extra edge.?

Not that I ever do it but hittin the either button a few times on your highway tractor will override the governor and give you a few extra MPH.
Then again you can get yourself a second comp chip for the motor that is wide open:cool: just don't get caught doin 95 mph in a company truck:cussing:

careful with the either........it will wash down the cylinders and put excessive wear on the rings. i have seen pushrods bent from over use of either.......powerful stuff!!!!!!!!!!

This was one item on my AOL headlines this morning. I thought it was interesting for this topic we have been discussing.

4. 'Worker fired for all-caps e-mails'

Vicki Walker, of Auckland, New Zealand, was fired for sending e-mail messages in all-capital letters. The employer said that Walker's co-workers complained about her "shouty" and confrontational e-mails. Walker was awarded $11,500 on the premise that the company had no official e-mail style guide; therefore, her messages did not amount to grounds for dismissal. (UPI.com)
:D
So keep on posting sportykid

DUDE CAPS AWAY AND ANYONE DON'T LIKE IT TOO DANG BAD. IF IT HELPS YOU TO BE A PART OF BT THEN GO FOR IT. THE DISCLAIMER IN SIG LINE MAY HELP STOP OTHERS FROM TELLING YOU TO STOP YELLING. I GO BACK TO JEREMIAH JOHNSON THOUGH, "WHY'S HE YELLING?" "CAUSE HE IS SCARED OF YA" LOL SORRY DUDE I JUST LOVE THAT MOVIE.

Don't know about the moth balls but seems reasonable to me I guess.

As for those snakes Chuck looks like first and second course of a meal to me, or maybe dinner for two LOL. Freakin HATE spiders when I am working, but crickets are the worst for me. Creepy crawly little suckers, that move just too dang fast. Think it is a spider and normally bang my head trying to get to it to kill it just to be a quick arse cricket that jumps off too fast.

A while back there were some posts related to use of kerosene or diesel to up the octane when forced to use low octane fuels. I've been wanting to take an extended ride into Mexico, down the Baja, and assume most of the fuels available are lower octanes. It would be easy to carry a couple of 'Sig' containers full of diesel (or kerosene) to add at fuel stops. A lot cheaper than fuel additives/octane boosters. Has anyone had any experience with adding diesel to their fuel? How much is needed? What about long term (2500 plus miles) use? Certainly don't want to screw up mine or my wife's rides?

Come on Chuck Mexico might be the place to go. They couldn't possibly have too many Mexicans left down there. You guys in Texas probably have as many as they do LMAO. Had a couple friends done the Mexico vacation and they never had anything but great things to say about it. Besides any excuse to ride right LOL.

The same rules applied to Nam also. There were certain places you could go and be a happy camper. Leave those and travel to the outlaying areas and you were a bullseye on the target.
Mexico ain't no different - go to the tourist traps of cancun or whatnot and your safe; these places are run by the mex mafia who don't want to kill the golden goose (the gringo with money) so they don't bother you there; but to ride off into the countryside is a sure fired way to set yourself up for a large headache.
NO THANKS! Besides if I want to get mugged and have my head stuck on a pole it would have to be for something more important than supporting a Mex ecomoicy(sp) that lets it's own citizens be treated like cattle being led to the slaugther. Whats the death toll in Nuevo Laredo now? over 2000 I think and climbing. And the policitions down there are as about as crooked as our own except they aren't as slick as ours at getting away with it.:cussing:
