    Rockford fosgate 6.5 speakers. With 6.5 ring adapters from jp cycles

    For bat wing you must get shallow 6.5. Road gliders can go deeper

    How do the Rockford sound compared to the stock limited speakers
    And can you put them in the lowers
    And do you stay with 2 ohm speakers

    Sound much better will work w Hk head unit but much better with 150 watt amp 125.2 amp from arc audio

    So what is wrong with the stock speakers on the 2011 limited. Mine are very loud at highway speeds. :confused:

    Buy them from Yaffe, Cycle Sounds, JP, whomever you want, $39.95

    They sound extremely clear, no distortion, and the RF speakers bolt right to
    these adapters, which use stock screws to bolt to the faring. No cutting drilling, taping, glue in fact you will not need to pick up more than a few tools from the garage floor to finish this...

    I would suggest you get the Arc Audio 125 mini amp, pop on top of the radio and
    wire in, you can then play Yeller Rose ah Tejaz so loud Chuck will have to close the doors to the shop to hear his Rocknroll...

    Didn't see any 6.5 speakers with 2 ohm for my bike.

    Called Rockford Fosgate and they didn't tell me much.
    Said not to expect much Bass.:gah:

    Bass is a function of moving air

    Your bike is moving through the air

    Hard to get that thump you want
    when the air the speaker needs to
    move is running by at 70

    They work fine they are on my bike.

    Won't hook up to a Tmax though
    so you'll have to optimize sound yourself.

    I'm only doing Homework right now. Don't know which model number speakers or amp I will git either.
    Still need mufflers for the bike.
    Got a buddy that knows the guy wth Dragon Fly fairings.
    They carry the stuff. Dragon Fly has the best farings out there that is after market. Have several buddy's that had em on their Road Kings and all.
    Ain't gonna git to work again today cause the Boss is Puney. Work has slowed down some too.
    So I won't make any money again today. That will put a dampner on my wanting to buy things for the bike.:gah:
