You should check around, that seems pretty high. I've got full coverage with high numbers myself.

When I had the wreck with my one ton diesel van and I had the locksmith company.
And the nigerian hit me and tried to sue me when it was his fault.
I might of paid a little more for Allstate but it was worth every penny I paid..
But Allstate contacted their attorney and they took care of the lawsuit for me for no charge.

The attorney tole me the extra you pay for your insurance is for them to have where they can pay them to be your attorney for free if you need a lawyer in a a case.
I was lookin at a millions of dollars in a person hurt.
They was claiming they needed a new car to git around, and was unable to work
They had what looked to be a Jamaican attorney who was pushing it too.

That's why you LLC your business and put the van and
stuff in the company name, doesn't matter that you guarantee the
loan, you want it all protected from your personal stuff.

Then it won't matter what you carry for insurance $10 million or $100,000
they can't punch through the corporate veil and get to you personally.

It must be all about location. I have coverage almost exactly like Charlie 46. My deductible is $500 on both liability and collision. Now my bike is not worth much as a lot of you guys, so guess that effects the collision, but my rate is $219 per year with Progressive. I asked around quite a bit and got several quotes. Seemed Progressive and GMAC were the two came up a lot for bikes. Have my cars and home with State Farm for many, many years.

Think I'll stick with Allstate. They do supply an attorney if you need one at no extra cost. And I don't mind the monthly fee - it's doable.

Another thing you have to consider is getting a +uninsured motorist rider". With so many people running around without insurance you'll lose yer vehicle if they hit you and total it an hurt you. No coverage unless you have the rider.

Your bike insurance only covers yer bike.
If you are in a wreck you better have health insurance or a accidental insurance
Or the hospital will probably not take care of you.
They will not work for free.

Got a Buddy I told that. He got a emergency accidental plan.
He was in a wreck and crushed a ankle. It cost over 400,000 at the hospital.
