I hear you two but, the fake knee is only good for do many years then it craps out. A fishing buddy got 15 years out of his then it let go.

That's interesting because the same thing happened to one of my neighbors a few years back. She put it off as long as possible and then her other "good" knee started going bad. She was overweight, too. Ended up getting them both operated on.

Fatboy, we're farther south and it's colder here. WTH?

Nothing like living inside a freezer, oh well maybe it will kill off some of the bugs.

Yup...The older you get, the worse it becomes and recovery is much more difficult...

Thats not a good idea, what are you going to do wait until you're 85 so you
will have good knees but can't remember why?

The technology between 15 years ago and today is big time
    different.

Technology may be different, but in general the AMA still treats illness from a symptomatic perspective. Very, very little emphasis on prevention, diet & excercise. Their solution to healing is threefold: cut it, burn it, drug it.

In the book "Island" by Huxley, doctors only got paid if people were well.

Diet and exercise are important, but they will do nothing for fixing a herniated disc caused by years of hard work or from a accident. Once that disc slides out of place and the nerve starts getting pinched no vegan or vegetarian diet will fix it so eat something tasty to take your mind off of the pain. Yeah ribeye steak for my bad back tonight.

Got the staples out today and can start a very passive physical therapy program next week...Should have close to 100% recovery if do what I am told...Will take a few months but I will be ready to ride when the warm weather returns...

Well, hope the other knee holds up till then. At least you don't have to kickstart your bike LOL.
