    yea one of my neighbors over there said he had a pic of a cow elk on his trail cam...man that would be sweet, love elk meat...better than beef. Would like to make some sausage with some too bet that would be gooooood!

    I was in Woody's smoke house up near Centerville, tried some Elk jerky, It was terrible. He said it was his least seller if meats. Some buffalo was super good.

    Elk steaks and jerky are the finest meat there is--buffalo included.

    As big as Woody's Smoke House is, and as long as it has been there, all the Jerkey they make and sell. Think they didn't do it right ?

    I would take elk or moose anyday over beef they taste great.:D

    I would agree on moose. When I go to Alaska, I load up on salmon cuz there is none better. But moose is the staple for red meat there, and it is much tastier than beef in my opinion.
