    My brother Jim, took another turn for the worse again today. They have taken him into surgery for the Infection in his legs, back and now the abdomen. They got,some of it but stopped as he was getting to weak. Said they may do more on the spine tomorrow. Feel helpless. :(

    Hadn't been online for a spell. Been trying to get my chemo back on schedule. Sorry to hear about your brother's illness. Brothers are special. White count up? That shows his body is fighting as hard as it can which is good..... but faith in an awesome and all powerful God is better. You, your brother and family are in our prayers. The way I have looked at life for the last few years is that the plan for my life is there - all I have to do is live it.:)

    Its 7 PM and just got home. I was two hundred mikes away doing a home inspection today and got a call from my sister. He went in for more surgery again today to help relieve some of the pockets of infection on his spine. She said he came out OK but now has blood clots So now they got a filter hooked for that. Don't know what they mean by a filter. Gotta travel a hundred miles west tomorrow for another inspection. But I will stop in and see him on the way. Better get to doing the inspection report tonight so I can. I'm tired 12 hour day today.

    Seen him yesterday for a short visit. He's got drain tubes out his back, leg and abdomen. He remains in good spirits though. :)

    Glad he's still in good spirits. That can make a HUGE difference. The filter fits in the Vena Cava - the big vessel back to the heart - and will catch and encourage the clots to dissolve before they can go somewhere else and cause harm. God is still in charge. We'll keep praying.

    That is exactly what they did was insert the filter from a vein in his neck then down towards the heart.

    Anymore news? How are things going now? Any idea as to the originatin of the Sepsis. Many times it originates as a Urinary Tract Infection that has gone unchecked for a spell.

    I'm sitting in the room with him now after a long motorcycle ride. That is exactly how the infection started. Only with him it went to long and really spread all over. He was able to sit up in bed for the first time on his own today. That is a great improvement as he is now on week 3-4 but was probably going on for much longer. He is looking good today. All the prayers have been really paying off. :D

    WONDERFUL-L-L-L-L-L!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's so good to hear! We'll keep praying. I have my 2nd chemo treatment tomorrow and will be under a new treatment plan. Glad you were able to get out and ride today. It was pretty here today but we had snow flurries off and on so we caged it today.:D
