Not everyone has been affected by it so why cry wolf. There was a law suit filled by the officer but they lost against the dealership.

I have a 12 limited. I put on the Harley lower suspension before I picked it up. I ran t for a year and a half. I switched the rear to progressive 944 and dumped the Harley lowered shocks. The progressives are head and shoulders better than the Harley shocks. I haven't checked part numbers but I wouldn't be surprised if the ultra low uses the same shocks and springs as a street glide to get that low height. If this is the case I don't see a lot of the wobbles being the cause of the lowered suspension otherwise all the Street Glides would be flopping around. I would put a tru track on the new frame. Actually I did put a tru track on. I'll probably go with the progressives in the front to tighten up the front end as it's a little sloppy. A mustang seat is a little narrower n the nose. all this has made manhandling my limited around a lot easer. I have backed it up, two up and have had the trailer hitched up and backed it up as well. I'm a little over 5 feet 7 inches. I'm over 62 so I'm shrinking. Lots of options out there

Have not heard of any recall on mine yet and the hydraulic clutch seems to be working quit well.
As for suspension the front forks on the 14 and 15 bikes is beefier than the older bikes and to me handles much better. Haven't tried the trailer hitch yet, we have two cargo trailers and a tent trailer but only used the cargo trailer when I went back to DC in 2010. Thinking of selling the tent trailer.

I won't repeat that particular case. I have been aware of what is called the harley death wobble.

That beefier front end and the factory lowering is what caught my attention.

It appears that the Low uses the progressive. On one of the low photos one of the rear shocks appear to have a turn knob handle coming off'n it.

I installed a Progressive Suspension lowering kit in the front end of my bobber 4 years ago. Handles really well and have no problem with high speed wobble - but then, I cruise around 55 to 60 most of time and have had it up to 75 when passing.

I love it too. Perfect for my shortness. No more front end wobble and she's tight in the corners. Happy so far. Rode her 100+ miles home on the interstate. Twisty windy northern Vermont twisty interstate.
