I will always contend that handling problems are aggravated by excessive weight on the baggers and all the weight hanging over the back wheel and behind the rear axel. Especially with a passenger.

That plays into it if other issues are at hand. For sur being to short for the other ultra those things you mentioned were making a bad situation worse. I'll keep you posted with this new bike.

Well I'm going to have to disagree with you on that one. I've rode big bikes like a bagger for many many years. What makes them have handling problems is worn tires, shocks, accidents that were not repaired properly and many other factors plus a rider who doesn't know how to ride one. I feel much more comfortable riding my bagger than riding a smaller bike.
Had you rode one as your main bike for years you might not feel that way. Sure as we get older were not as strong as we were when younger and a lighter bike is more appealing but a rider with a lot of experience on a bagger can really put them through there paces.

Not having a trunk i can't comment on rear weight balance, i do believe my Street Glide is the best handling bike i have ever owned, no wobbles at any speed, hands or no hands, as with most of us I'm always trying to get the most out of it. My feeling is Harley has the balance figured out.

Yeah, that's a beautiful color. BI, I'm wondering if you're considering changing your seat to something more comfortable?

Thanks. Pearl white is my favorite color. The silver pearl is growing on me.

It feels weird not to have a windshield bag for my glasses.

Lol. You must be spying on me. I got 2015 catalog with the bike and yep, looking at seats. Looks like I have to super reach seat on it. Looking at a tall buy seat to push me back about 1.5 inchs or the air Zeppelin. Wish one were able to try the seat before purchasing it. Need to find a dealership with a surplus of seats.

    Thanks.

Hopefully next spring when you're all better we can meet up at motorcyclepedia. I'll let you sit on mine if I can sit on yours. Always wanted to sit on a heritage softail.

The changes on the ultra low are subtle but impacting. Smaller passenger boards...wife likes them better. The way the tour pac and saddle bags open is significant. I like the retractablewhosamathingy on the your pac lid. Cruise on the left...better. Smaller diameter grips..questionable. It has trip A,trip B, to reserve, cumulative miliage and hours on the odometer setting. The Gage's are unfortunately located in a position to exposed to the sun and makes reading minimum to none a times. The hydrolic clutch is non adjustable and is a smidge off from what I prefer. I definately need a seat to push me back 1.5 to 2 inchs. I'll know better if I could test one.

Other then that I am very happy to feel more in control on stops and high speed cornering. It's like having a Ultra Sportster, lol.
