The bare pavement we have here is white with salt....Still a lot of side roads covered in ice...Couldn't imagine breathing in that chit, let alone getting it all over the bike...

Josh, you gotta work that shoulder, but not overwork it...Doc is right, you won't get it back 100%,but with the right exercises you can get 90-95% and pain free most of the time...Did a shoulder smash into asphalt when I was a young fella about 35 yrs ago...only hurts in damp cold weather now :inpain:lol

Funny for this Forum to stray from the topic.:D
    Now a Tech question...

With the O2 sensors and ECMs on these new bikes, can they adjust the AFR enough to keep it in stock trim with just slip ons??

If you add a better air filter on top of adding pipes you will or should then add a tuner to it.

No riding here for a while yet. Still piles of snow everywhere. Roads covered in salt/sand.

Hey JB. Sorry to hear your still laid up. Do what the doctors say to a "T".

Heading to NC the week of April 5th. I have your phone number,I'll try to slow down long enough to give you a holler. Hope you mend well in the mean time.

Out here in the west buying a used vehicle that came from the east coast is always a big no no.

Yeah, even bone stock a dyno tune will have them running better...None around here though,so options are limited...A Fuel Moto tuner is best option for us here
He asked the dealer about a set of mufflers and they told him it would need a tune,I told him I was pretty sure the O2 sensors would increase the fuel...that's why I asked, just wanted to verify ..I don't know what "tune" they were going to try to sell him... I told him they don't have a dyno there,so they can't tune your bike and the Harley download is a waste of money, especially on a new bike with O2s on them...

Just mufflers will be the only mod done on his bike, unless I start leaving him behind on my dirty old cop bike...;):D

No Pro pipe...Stock breather and headers and a set of slip ons, just to raise the sound level a bit...

2009 was the 1st year of the frame change. The handle bars will not turn as sharp as the 2010 model.
There is no way I would want a 96 engine compared to a 103.
And a real good thing to do is put a Pair of progressive 944 UT shocks on it.
No way could I take the tour pack off. So there is no reason to get a removable tour pack brackets and wasting the money.
Got vented Hard lower and I open the air vents on them.
Like the wider rear tire on the newer bikes too.
The ratio on the new bagger really rocks.
I would like at least a 2011 model.
Would look at a Limited, they have more bells and whistles.
Seen one I think for 14500.00 the other day at a dealership about 100 miles from me.
