I'll need a tool and can't find it. She will have it down the street at her house.
    Had a bunch of lumber. I mean a bunch, 1x2 ,1x4 1x6,1x8, 2x2, 2x4, 2x6
Screws for drywall and deck screws, roll of 110 and 220 wire, tape and everything where I was remodling things around the house.
Well its like 8 miles to Lowes and she don't like going up there so she borrowed all the lumber over 5 yrs from me, screws, nails, Paint, caulkin,Wire, tape and I had some 3" wide tape a buddy gave me from back home that came from the mines. Duck tape.

She has been workin on her house. Fixin it up.
My drills, 18volt skill saw and all are at her house.

Now I thought when I retired with all the stuff I stocked up on.

    Wrong.........................

If I change the code for the downstairs doors, my wife will give her sister the code to git in.
She tried to take my Golf cart to N.M. to her mothers House.
I caught her before she borrowed my utility trailer and was gonna leave.
The golf cart is my wifes golf cart.

You don't even want to git into all this man......

    trust me.:banghead:
I'd be set to work on things with not much money comin in.

    I FULLY understand!!!
My wifes brother is at least as bad as that...
From groceries to hardware, he`ll "borrow" it (without replentishing it)~ insteadda bringing it home from town or making the trip...
And now we got a niece and nephew that have moved out here, they feel like they can come get whatever they want and take it to their house...
At least these people are on the farm, it ain`t 8 miles down the road...
We can pick our friends but NOT inlaws ~ is the saying...

I like my sister in law.
Sometimes she makes me scream at her. She tried to protect her sister.
Think sometimes she things I'm mean to my wife.
My wife is pretty dang special to me. Wouldn't want to think about being without her.

I've got used to realizing that I can't go to the store and buy anything and put it downstairs and expect it to be there.
Got pissed off one time and took my tool box and turned it upside down and thew the tools in the floor and started kickin them all over he shop.
Let her look for em. I do.:banghead:

    Ain't picked em up.

And my Dad passed away. Went and got a lot of his stuff. Found out I needed another house to put everything in.
Couldn't git it all out of his house or in mine.
He had a Ford Tractor I really wanted. Couldn't find a place to keep it and the attachments.

    Don't remember

He lived back home near Jasper, Ala
He had 2 other ford tractors he picked up cheap for parts too
He had a 40 acre farm with like 44 head of cattle
    cut his own hay
    I had a 7 day a week 24 hr locksmith business.
Was having to drive back and forth every week to feed his cattle and check on him
That was 1400 miles every weekend.
I gave his cows away for 3000.00.
Got a old man to take his jackass.
Think I got somebody to take his dog.
He had a full basement full of tools, and a three bedroom house full of stuff.
I loaded the inside of my one ton van, rented a auto hauler and filled a 91 Silverado truck inside and bed full with stuff.
Looked downstairs and upstairs and it was still full.
He had like 4 vehicles in the yard too. I only took the truck and gave it to my wife.
Got his Ex Old lady who he had a 16 and a 14 yr old daughter with to come in and take care of him till he passed away from his stroke. He lost the use of one side of his body.
He got mean on me and would call me every weekend and tell me he was gonna have me put in jail when I come back.
Think a lot of this was his ex Old lady and daughters talkin to him.
But he still did it and I was the executor of his will.
That was a tought time too.
YOu know how family matters can go. Especially if there's a ex wife that is younger than me and 2 daughters.

Long story I dun told too much of.

Good to "Pop off" every time it`s needed!!!
    I can relate...
We got a tough weekend ahead of us...
We`re going through Dads barn, cleaning it out, so my sister can use it, He died Dec 2009, and she has the property...
Luckily family is still loving each other here, No ex`s to fool with!!!
I`ll get to go to FL Flywheelers Swapmeet whilst in Sebring also...Maybe I can find some Ford tractor stuff...

I`m taking the seats outta the wifes van and we`re leaving tomorrow fer this task...
Keep us in prayer through the week...

Why don't you git rid of yer bass boat you don't use it.
I said, if I want to start fishing again what do I do. I live on a lake.
    She said buy another one.
But the one i got is paid for.
    Its stored downstairs.........

Man, I have a real hard time with anyone borrowing stuff and not returning it. The wifes nephew borrowed my enclosed motorcycle trailer to go back to Missouri to pick up a load of stuff from his grandpa. When he didn't bring it back I got pissed off and told the wife to tell Toby to get it back here by the next weekend. Came back with damage to the inside. Do you think he cared or offered to pay for it :cussing: He don't borrow nothing anymore, not allowed.
I don't loan nothing out no more and I think I would lay the law down to your sister in law, that's just plain wrong. :gah:

I can't fathom someone taking my stuff without asking.

I never do it and I expect the same courtesy, I have friends
that I've told they could come borrow a tool, very few though
because I know they will bring it right back.

I'd pitch a fit as they say and make them so upset
they would think twice before even asking.. That's just me though.

Clean it up, lock it up and hide the key,
put the tools in the tool box, lock it.

Tell um to keep their hands off
if they don't get it just go down to their
house, take something and don't bring it back.

Like get the microwave, put it in the garage
take the tv, move it to the basement everytime
they take something, just go down there and take something
    from them...

And drive the golf cart down there to get the stuff LOL

Loanin tools out is one way to find out who yer real friends are - if they don't bring it back then ya know what they think of ya - in-laws and outlaws are differnt can't do anything bout them without causing a family war.
Solution borrow from them first and don't return anything then you'll know where all yer stuff is. :roflmao:
But in CB's case he don't have any room - so the point is moot! :D - And now you also have the real reason he don't ride - He put his bike in the garage and lost it. Maybe he ought call his SIL to come and dig it out for him. :roflmao::roflmao:

    Don't matter.
My wife will let her have whatever she needs.
    They are really close.
The upstairs was supose to be for the wife and the downstairs for me.
I changed the locks. my wife has to go downstairs and use the washer, dryer and git her bicycle out and her motorcycle is there.
I changed the code to the overhead garage doors.
The OL just gives her sister the code to git in.
My wife now pays all the bills .
There has not been anything I've been able to do in 25 1/2 yrs.
I ain't got the money to move either.

Man I would have my personal tools under lock and key then, sounds like your SIL don't think much of you to treat you so poorly. I'd break her neck. :fight:

It would mean more to me to throw my tools and stuff away just to make my wife happy.
She does a heck of a lot for me.
We rarely ever fight that much.
Don't care anymore. If she has something, I take the charge card and go buy another and make the wife pay for it.
    FTW !

I leave my garage door open when I'm in the neighborhood.
Sometimes the dog is in the garage.
Sometimes I'm in the garage. :cussing:
If you come in you might step on something and hurt yerself.
    Something might fall on you.
YOu might trip. the steps going into the workshop might flip and throw you.
You might fall and hit her head.
    Somebody might shoot you. :gah:
The OLd man that's 80 pulled a shotgun on a dude that come over to my house. I was laying on the couch asleep with the front door open.
The OLd Man was trying to figure who he was and what he wanted and why he was in my yard.
He uses his cell phone and called me and woke me up.
He asked what kind of neighbors do you have.
He didn't even let me knock on the door.
I got a reward. If you see somebody breakin in my house and you shoot them.
I will give you 500.00 cash.

I got NO Trespassin Signs up.
    And Harley Davidson signs.
You should of figured to stay the ---- out of my garage without me being there.

If you come to my house call 1st......
