    Just got a new Fatboy a month ago....and the thing im concern with is that..when I shift gears...there's a clang every time I shift...took it back to the dealer....they said it was normal until its broke in. I have spoke with a friend who said he has a Fatboy...never did that....anybody out there have any ideas ??????

    Shouldn't clang at all, it may be noiser than most bikes, the newer softails trans 00 and up years have a better shifting.

    If its loud have them check the primary chain tension, could be loose.
