I will most likely want to go to the 95" kit. I would also most like give it some more compression. Not sure on that though, not sure what I have now for compression. :)

I think that since I have the 1 year warranty I would have Harley do it. When it comes to that time I guess I will ask about the cams but at this point I have no idea..

So you are just gonna do jugs and pistons.
I would WAIT and save yer money..

Seen a lot of folks just jump in and do a build with the dealer and not be happy with it.

I would talk to Scott with Hillside cycles and tell him what you want, you will be much happier with the kit he has. Would match the pistons and heads and cams..........
The right cam is gonna really make a difference.

You probaly have a after market warranty. Their restrictions probaly ain't gonna be as strict as HD.

    Hillside

Got a buddy IN Austin that just did a 97cu kit and he talked to Bob Woods on the cams and heads. He is super happy with the kit he built.
Hillside cycles can suggest the same cams and do a great set of heads and pistons to match the heads.
You can have yer indy dealer to put it together for you.

Cool pics. You haven't had yer bike a hot minute and everybody's trying to get you to change everything. I'd like to know what's wrong with it the way it is.

Still wouldn't waste the money to go from a 88 to 95 with Harley without talkin to a head man like Scott.

Nothing wrong with it the way it is.... I am saying that if I were going to do something to it it would be the 95" kit. The 95" kit would most likely be the only thing that I do it. I like the rest of the bike just the way it is..

I didn't even listen to the radio on my home with it, it was off the whole way so there isn't any real reason to upgrade that...

Just had a buddy that had a 96cu motor to go to HD and spend the money for a HD kit to turn his bike from a 96cu to a 103 motor. It involved cylinders jugs and pistons and all their labor.
When they got threw all he could say is I can't tell any difference in my 96 motor I had and the 103 they built.
The pistons might be 1/8 of a Inch difference
I forgot the measurements, but bet HRK or baggerpaul remembers the sizes.

I suggested for him to put a backrest or tourpac and some hard lowers on it for the winter and the backrest for his Wife.

I also asked him to ride his bike for a while to git to know it.
And asked if he liked the cam. And if he did anything I would consider a different cam on a Heavier bike. But to talk to a Head man 1st

I will take the Blame man.:gah:

Sorry, everybody I know buys a Harley to do stuff to improve it.
Were bored man. Give us a break.

And so far we've dun nothin but Male Bond..:D

Yeah it's in the nature to change stuff
but I remember you getting asked this stuff
when you got the Ultra and you weren't gonna
do anything, got all upset, then the next thing
talked about warranty etc then bam

    Tmax (surprise surprise)
    mufflers LOL

    It's the natural progression.

    Hard to leave them alone...
