I will leave the chrome and other things alone, but the engine will get work done eventually. I have no intention of doing anything to the engine until after the first full season. I still may not do anything to it but I need at least a good season to determine that. I will put the bike up on the table to check the AFR to see if things are correct there though..:D

Just saw these posts - been out of it lately - and, yep, that is a fine ride. Are your apehangers comfy? I know mine are, but they aren't as high.

As for the 95 mod, it is smoother, more powerful and fun, but I've lost almost 5 mpg (and 25 miles of cruise range matters out West) and it puts out a good bit more heat in traffic. I am not unhappy with it, but had I not needed to get the engine work done anyway I would not have wanted to spend the money for it. I'm calling it a nice to have - vs a need to have - upgrade.

And yeah, backrests make the long-hauls more fun.

Bet ya can't wait till Spring!

Red my 95 now gets up to 48 mpg. I installed a Vductor it really works! Notice I said "up to". I can get it down to 33mpg if I'm acting like a kid (too often).

Had the 37 andrews in my WG in 07 but I had heads, pistons and D&D fatcat 2in1 pipes to match the build.
AFter than I went with the Woods TW6 cams. The woods had more low end power.

Johnny, ride yer bike for a while and enjoy it man.'
Its a bagger, its made for crusing. Not really a Hot Rod.

YOu look pretty good cruising on it.
It takes a little time to git used to ridng a cruisin bike.
Just Putt around man. Enjoy the ride............

I was hopin you had the right dockin HDw. Its 4 point dockin hardware not two point dockin Hardware.
Hate for you to have to go buy Dockin hdw. but if you got the wrong kind that's what it would take.
And its kinda of a job to install it.:gah:

I'm tryin to git ahold of Chucktx, he was comin over sometime this afternoon.
I need to run 50 miles to Kingwood HD to git something else for the bike.

The system that I have on my bike has to attaching points on each side of the fender. It has the one point that the front of the bracket slips into a groove then at the back is where it latches. I think you are more worried than I am. :D

Congratulations on the sissy bar back rest.
Sometimes if you don't have the correct docking hardware on the bike it is easier to change the docking plates on the sissy bar. Maybe not less expensive but lots easier.

not to tell what next, but I have a small luggage rack on the back of my sissybar makes for a good place to carry items, just say'n.
