My Ol is 10 yrs younger than me. I made a agreement with her when I had my locksmith business. I would put her threw college for however long she wanted to go, if I could quit like 5 yrs early.
She went to College for 6 yrs.
5 yrs ago, I was heavly stressed workin 90 hours a week, and got in bad health with blood pressure and all.
She tole me to quit so I did.

I work part time during the spring and summer for a mobile Boat mechanic.
Since I got rid of my business I got no credit.
Took the OL to the Harley dealer and she said for 50 miles yer not gittin a new bike, you have a 08 model.
She came out of the salesman office saying what did I sign my name for.
    I said a 2011 limited Baby.
Thanks I will pay for it.
I paid 8000.00 on it this year so far. I owe about 6500.00.
I might have a little money in the bank to make it about threw winter.
I'm still hoping we might git some more boat work so I can go back to work and I can make some money.
    I'd hate to loose it.

Years ago I to was working 6 days a week and 12-14 hours a day owning my own business. Then I had heart problems and open heart surgery. I know how you felt. I'm gonna retire in November. I've actually not worked all summer with my vacation then the back issue. Don't want to go back to work. Will have 3 retirements coming in starting in November so I'm ready. Just hope the health stays up now.

You guys just a little ahead of me. Working 12 - 14 hours a day, still got another 4 or 5 to go probably. But I find I think about getting out more and more. Should have house paid for by then, girls raised and gone. Me and the wife don't need lots ... Went in to plant at 6am today, home at 8:45. Have 45 minute drive each way. Too tired last Saturday to get up and go bow hunting, never happens. Same thing FLHT said, hope my health holds so I can enjoy slowing down just a bit.

Mabe cause I am like you.
Not lookin for any. I work seasonally with the boat Doctor. Were out of season.
I can't git a job and leave next year for weeks to go somewhere. I got things to do.
Folks here don't want to pay nothin. But want you to work all day.
Know you've owned yer own business and you don't work for scratch.

Yeah,, it's silly, we aren't that far apart, infact I was probably half way to ya a couple times this summer. Those weren't really planned rides,, just kind of get together with some friends and pick a direction. Some go longer than others.
Ran up the Minnesota river area, in the spring. How far are you from New Ulm ?

Well, I would almost bet on a ride that way again next spring. Maybe visit the brewery. Grain Belt is the Bomb man !!
Might get there this winter for the Black Powder Trade Fair.
