I have a few bud's that I ride with too. A couple of customs and an H-D. Can't get into those large groups. Someone can do something stoopid and screw it up for everyone else following. I enjoyed the Colorado mountains when I was stationed there 28 or so years ago (Ft. Carson), but the east has some awesome riding too. A these Southern Bells... Woah!!! That's all I can say... And I love the southern drawl in these hea' parts.:)

    ride n packs

i like my solo rides. got hit broad side riden by myself. hit a car broadside when she pulled out at last minute while looking right at me. never lost eye contact of each other while i went across her hood. there were 3 of us in a staggered order. went down with my ol'lady on bored when another guy pulled into our path without even looking, again, by ourselfs. NOW, when i rode with my club, the sound of 15-25 bikes got attention. the danger is always present on a bike, it's part of what we do. in moto-cross racing, you are wide open and about half out of control. you rely on your skills and the riders around you. i think you give and lose some safety while alone and in a pack. most of it is on your shoulders.
