Went for a ride today with grandson grandson. 55 degrees, sunny and blue skies. Road surfaces on back road NC are phenomenal. No cars. Speed limit 45-55mpg. 35mph thru small towns

Sometimes I like the slow rate of speed over highway speeds, especially if there isn't any traffic.

Was stationed in NC in the late '70s, and it is where I got my first bike - a Yamaha XS750. Learned the hard way smaller bikes are best for beginning riders. Dumped it a few times on those fine Tar Heel state back roads. Wrecks weren't fun, but loved riding those roads. Been thinking about going out there again, if the world ever gets better.

BI, thinking you will have a visitor. I'll wait til I get my COVID vaccination before firming up plans, though, so likely be awhile.
