Went this past Friday and bought a XDm 3.8 Compact 9mm pistol.
Shot it this morning down the street in a neighbors yard.
Will probably give this pistol to my nephew in 6 months when he moves from California to Tennessee to do 3 more years of specialization as a doctor.
Think he will give this pistol to his wife who is also a Doctor.
He shot the XD subcompact in California. And really liked it. But he wanted the XDm 3.8 compact. He can't buy it in California or own it there.
Spent some time with the nephew who came out for Christmas showing him how to draw the pistol and shoot it. ONe of the neighbors was showing him the laser sights he has in his pistol I told the nephew that he wouldn't have all the time to point a laser if the situation came up and shoot. You got to be able to pull the pistol and shoot.
I was showing him to take his hand by his side pick it up and punch me in the face but not to hit me. Then to do it at the heart, solar plexus. Groin and all
Not do it long range in the house at the picture on the wall, the light plug switch and stuff in the house.
Then I gave him the pistol and had him to draw it and point it like he was gonna take the pistol and punch the picture, the light plug swith on the wall and all and shoot it.
Take a dart gun. draw it and shoot.
He did it with the pistol and I said when you punch it with your fist look at the sight.
Where is it. He said the sights are right on the target. I said good.
You don't have to knock the bullseye out of the target with a pistol. All you need to be able to do is hit the general area and keep pulling the trigger a couple more times.
I will take him out when he goes from Texas to Tennessee and go shoot with him
I will be going on the trip with him to Tennessee .
I will leave there and go home to Alabama and visit friends and Family.
I got one because I think Obama will push to get high capacity pistol and rifles outlawed. More to pushing things to where the criminals has more fire power than the average citizen. The criminals don't have to go threw gun laws to own or tote them.
But we have to go threw Hell and worry about being able to keep them cause some slimeballs does things wrong.
And if they start doing something wrong and you choose not to push for your rights to carry, and you don't take the time to go and get a CHL license and you don't tote.
You might wind up a statistic if you are where somebody might go stupid one day and start shooting.
If that happens you can only draw up in a knot and be shot yourself.
Me I'm gonna go out in Glory and throw some lead at them.

See by Democrats. Whats the deal with the democrats wanting to take the law abiding citizens right away.
I have 3 pistols with High capacity mags. Gonna look at another one next month at a gun show.
Will probably git another XDm 3.8 compact 9mm for the OL if I can find one.
If I can buy or order original extra clips I will git them too.

Here is a list of the Executive Orders that have been enacted today. These all sound good as far as I don't see anything that is any more intrusive that already esists, but there are a couple of things that really are kind of interesting. #13 states and I quote, "Maximize gun violence prevention and strongly prosecute gun crime." Isn't that what the fuggen laws were put into place for in the first place?? He has to issue an EO to get people to do their job? The second one was and I quote, "Clarify that the Affordable Care Act does not prohibit doctors from asking their patients about guns in their homes." Common Man!!!
