Just want to see you have a good build and everything go your way.
Know you are puttin a lot of money and time in this build.
Hope you take the time to heat cycle it and break it in without gettin on it for a while.

if your going to replace them with OEM studs, just leave the ones in there now,I se kibblewhite studs.make sure you install them to the right hieght and be carefull removing & installing as the threads in the case have interferance threads

I'm ok,really. I wasn't serious about whether it was a joke or not just looking to goof off a little. I've read a little on the oil wars...don't know enough to get into it. All I know is that it gets cold here in the winter 30-40 below and sometimes it is hard to be able to plug in the truck's block heater. the truck's starter spins the motor over much better with Synthetic than dino at 40 below. We took lubrication and bearings a couple of years ago in millwright training and they had a video on oils and how temp affects viscosity between different grades and synthetic and non synthetic. That sold me.

Yep. It's much more the exception than the rule though.

I think that I would rather just buy new factory ones. Like you said, no measuring. My cylinder studs have the shoulder on the bottom from the factory. A no brainer. :D

I wouldn't replace the studs unless one pulled out with the head bolt...new head bolts,Yes...studs No...
Here's Kirby's quote in my thread....but the choice is yours;) early ones he talked about were the ones in early Evo's...
