Today is a week since surgery. There are 2 small entry points on either side of knee cap where doc went in. One side is still numb from nerve block. I'm walking around and taking Advil for the pain. Next week I go back to doc for follow up and get stitches out. I'm hoping I get the green light for work and riding. Also i desperately want to ride to DC for 9/11 to intimidate those effin bast__ds that want to build a mosque in the dust of their attack on the World Trade Center and now march on DC on the 12th anniversary of 9/11.
In a year or two I have to get knee replaced.
    Thanks for asking Cowboy!

Hope you get to ride there, Fatboy. Thanks for the update on your knee. I know I haven't said much about it, but you have been in my thoughts and prayers.

How far will you be riding?

From my house to the Washington Monument is just about 300 miles of the worst interstate on the east coast NJ Turnpike/I 95. After last night I'm not sure my knee will let me ride that far. Worst night yet since nerve block is wearing off.

You still have 2 more weeks. Things might be better by then. Maybe if you rode at night or early morning, it wouldn't be so crazy.

He gave me Percocet and Celebrex. Can't ride or drive on the Percocet and Advil works better than Celebrex.
