    Been there done that...

We have lots of dealers in the area, two specifically in the city, neither of which for the past 4 or more years carry any parts inventor of any magnitude.

I've had to go to as many as 4 dealers to get enough parts to put things back together,

Destination or Daytona HD for the longest time always kept everything on had, Rossmeyer at least knew that during bikeweek, any model was going to be in town and he had to make sure they could be fixed...

So you could get most anything there.

If you need others let us know we might find them for you..

Shipping as with all orders is not included... LOL

But if you can swing it

Now IS the time to buy, you can smoke a deal out of them...

Kinda fun getting a former Over MSRP dealer to sell you a new bike UNDER msrp LOL

BTW being that they found bearing problems in the tranny and it's all getting done under warranty it's a good thing it happened when it did, otherwise, 6 months down the road the tranny starts to whine and you are fubar'd

So I'd take the bearing problem with a little bit of "whoo glad that happened now"

Was in another forum with Markcuda and he said call yer dealer.

I called the dealer and they said they missed 2 other parts and had to drive to Waco from College Station which is about 100 miles. They are back with the parts and have my bike about 75% back together to call them around noon tomorrow.

I got to go with the dude I work for to put a stator and switchbox on a boat in the mornin. We might also ride 40 miles up the lake and put a neutral safety switch in a control box on a boat.
That should put me back here by noon tomorrow.
If the bike is ready, I can load the trailer up and drive 100 miles to college station and pick it up.

I'm glad to hear they are on it.:gah::D

Called the dealer today at 1:30 Pm. He said the tech took the bike out to test ride it. They didn't call me back for an hour.

    Yep !

I got it. got a call at 2:30 to let me know I could pick it up. Got the mule out and pulled the trailer around and hooked it up to my Powerstroke and rode over to the dealer and got it.

the mechanic that did the work rode the bike and the service advisor rode the bike.
They covered everything under warranty.Had me to sign two pieces of paper.
Man I'm glad I got it covered under warranty. They did me right.

The service advisor or whatever he is said who built yer motor. I said I did why. He said I know you was lookin at a Ultra limited.
Just wanted to let you know the Ultra Limited will run nothin even close to the way yer bike runs.

They replaced every bearing in my tranny.
CRanked her up and put her in 1st and she didn't clank or nothin goin in gear.
Backed the trailer with the bike on it and my Powerstroke under my carport.
Gonna git something to eat and take a break

    I'm a Happy camper notw.

Thanks for all the support Bike talk Rednecks!
