    I dont blame ya.

I usually have to take a 2x4 and pry down on the front rocker box on my TC so that I can get the wrench and bolt out of that back bolt. MFer is a PITA! LOL

Well, I think that I am going to buy my lifters today and I may completely forget about the SE Lifters and buy Gatorman's. I will be talking to a guy from Harley Tech Talk that has a lot of experience with them. Of course, price does have an impact on my decision as well.

Today is the day that I start to break down the Glide. I am going to go to sleep and when I wake up, I need to buy a couple of sockets then off I go to the garage.

Honestly JB stock HD lifters are sufficient for what you
are doing... DOn't know a thing about gatormans...

I'd stick with the stuff that is tried trued and tested.

The Harley "B" lifter is the bees knees. Never had a problem out of them. Like $89 for the set of 4.

Using what everyone else uses is BORING!!!!! Just because OBI Wan doesn't use them doesn't mean that they are junk guys. There are plenty of other people that use the Gatormans. so they have tried, tested and mothers approve..

I got off the phone not too long ago with one of the moderators from HTT and we had a nice conversation about Gatorman lifters. One of the things that I really like about them is that they are a directional lifter and that I got a knock out price on them as well. I guess that makes two things that I like. :D

OH! and a word from the wise, DO NOT reassemble your motor half way threw a 30 pack of Coors Banquet. Catastrophic things will happen, dont ask me why I know this, LOL!!

I was trying to get a head start, :roflmao:

Whats so directional about a lifter anyway? That lil oil hole on the side goes where the oil passage is down in the lifter hole. Run ya finger down in there, should be on the outboard side, IIRC.

Actually, Imah go check mine right now. It's tour down anyway. I'll BRB!

I have been giving it considerable thought about investing in an DD6 6 speed. I never wanted it, until a good friend of mine and I were talking about it. It is gaining momentum in my head.
