Nah no need, take a paid for 96
put kirby's heads on it, drop in a cam
and tune it, that 103 owner will be
    looking at the tail lights.

    Actually, can go one better,
buy an SNS 106 kit, do the heads with
kirby, pop on a 57mm TB and tune
and get over 120 HP and TQ...

    Stock 103 isn't even close...

    Hell no

Now you are comparing a Stock 103 motor to a built motor.
    That is not fair.

Plus the new motors has a better pressed together crank if you are lookin at Power.
And they got the newer tranny with all the gears cut the same direction.
And they come stock with a Factory Oil cooler just to name a few things.

No, you said, trade in the bike with the 96 for a 103 right?

My point is that instead of taking the trade in loss up the wazoo
and then having to pay list for a new 103, or, buy someones used 103
if you have your bike paid for or close, it's cheaper, better and results
in more power to build your twinkee from a 96 to a 106/107.

All you need is an SNS 106 kit,
A kuryakyn 57 mm throttle body
    HD SE injectors
Take your heads over to Kirby in De-land (it's close for Charlie)
    A set of adjustable pushrods
    SNS 585 cams
You can even use your tuner of choice, but I have access
to a canned map for the TTS Mastertune made specifically
for that build, save ya $400, and it will pull 120/120

So for $2500 he gets to keep the bike and smoke
any new 103 coming off the floor, heck it will smoke a 110 cvo.

Not saying the 103 isn't nice but it's not all that and a bag of cheetos... :roflmao:

I just got of the phone with the dealer and now I officially have my 44mm intake on order. Along with it I get the new flanges and gaskets. Now it is to decide if I am going to use the 42mm Mikuni or the CV?? Decisions... HMMMMMM.

you can go to 98 cui with some bigger juggs
after that you have to get into the cases
    different flywheels, bore cases etc.

But you can make a bitchin 95 or 98 cui engine
that will run circles around all the stockers...
