You keep comparing a stock motor to built motors.
    That ain't fair.

The problem with the 110 is the 255 cam and the SE heads.
Put some better heads on it and change the cam. I you leave it low compression put a 222 woods. If you raise the compression put a 555.

My 110 with pipes and a tuner on it runs just fine, don't need no new cams or heads. 98 HP with 117 torque is plenty. Runs perfect the way it is. A 124 from what everyone I have talked to that has had one they say that they can be a real head ache.

98" is as big as you can go without boring the cases or stroking it...3 more cubes isn't going to make a lot of difference in power...

Got friends with 124's. They drink gas. They eat bike parts.
You are always workin on them

The 110 cu motor is a good platform. The 255 cam and the SE heads is the problem. I'd get a new set of heads and put a different cam in.
Then you would notise a huge difference in the bike.
But if you run the speed limit or 10 miles over.
Who needs anymore power than the bike has.

I sed...98"is as big as you can go WITHOUT BORING THE CASES,OR STROKING IT!! That sure looks like a set of stroker flywheels to me in that 106" kit:D
And, 3 cubes ain't gonna make a lot of difference in power...going from 95" to 98" is throwing money away, you'd be better off getting some head work done than boring the jugs for 3"....JMHO....

I think the question was posed by someone with an 88,
so you can go to 98, and that's significant, there is no substitute
for displacement, going bigger is better.

As for the 110, changing cams and heads helps
but won't do much, you have to set the pistons up
in the cylinder per Kirby for better quench, and you'll
need a bigger intake, then cams...

If my CVO didn't have the custom grey colored
    engine I'd opt for a 120R....
