If that's the case, the guy that owned it before you didn't do his homework on cams before install. I bet if you pop the keeper off the pushrods tubes you probably already have adjustable pushrods.

It is possible and I can take a look at it tomorrow after my meeting with the attorney. When you take that keeper off, will the tube slide up then??

Yep! When you put it back on, just use a small flat screwdriver, put the top of the keeper in, your screwdriver between the keeper and the lower tube, then push in on the keeper. Will pop right in. Takes a few times to get it, but once you figure it out, it becomes easy.

H-D's twin-cam is truly the easiest motor to work on in the world. That can also be a dubious distinction if you have to work on it more than you ride it.

BMW used to have a simple easy motor many years ago, but they got caught up in the latest trend of designing a new one every year. Gives them bragging rights, but the poor bas&^$@ who owns one has to empty his bank account for each 5,000 mile check-up.

I have received a suggestion to install a Baisley LMR-002 pressure relief spring. Is this worth the time and and I assume little effort for what it is supposed to do?

Just do what I did. I put the Fueling High output oil pump in my o4. At idle hot, sits at about 20 lbs of pressure. Runs in the 45 or about cruising. You can still use your gear drives. Oil pump is good insurance.

Save your breath Smarty. Johnny only listens to what one or two folks here suggest to him.

OK. thanks. Is this relief spring a better way to go than updating the pump or is it more of a matter of money to achieve the same thing?

I am assuming that this oil pump will fit without any major modification to the cam chest??/

You cannot put a fuel pump in cam chest. It needs an oil pump lol
