    I think Medicare will get his knee fixed. Lots of gray beards in Orthopaedics office.

    Because I decided years ago to work for myself I didn't pay much SS, my fault so I get less than 800 a month. But now I'm on Medicare :D and now pay more for prescriptions :( :banghead:

    They took me off my Blood pressure medicine because it made me cough.
    Gave me a new prescription. Went to get it filled for 90 days.
    The drug store said it would be 289.00.
    I said I have insurance, they said that is with insurance. I said I ain't paying that kind of money for 90 pills. You keep it. Walked out of the drug store.
    Going back to the doctor when I calm down and scream that they gave me a medication that cost that kind of money.
    And gonna say, give me a generic drug or I will not fill it.

    I just went through the same thing. Gave it back and walked out. Gotta hold of the Doc and now taking a Generic and cost 15.00 with insurance.

    My BP was getting high a couple years ago and the dr said she'd give me 3-4 months to lose weight. I went right out and bought a treadmill and 3-4 months later I went from 245 to 210lbs ergo no BP medication. That was a couple years ago......no comment on the weight now.

    I just told the wife she needs to clean the top of the treadmill off so we can start using it again. :rolleyes:

    I hear on the news that NH lost power and your all buried in snow. :eek:
