Intentions are to run at the track 2-3 times this year. The bikes main purpose is for street bragging rights . It is going to be streetable as was the 107 build with 10.8 comp. and mechanic free. I keep it maintained and change oil and filter at 1k Will bump the compression up with the 117. I do get in it when necessary but dont ride the bike hard or lug it. I keep the r"s up. The 107 was damn good to me but my circle of friends are wanting my bragging rights. ain"t gonna happen.

My limited knowledge but research indicated the 662-3 was for aggressive riding and worked good with 11.5 and plus comp. and turns on about 3500. I understand your logic with hi compression motors but are you thinking about a track happy bike ?

believe it or not but I was getting just as good gas mileage as the stock 96 & 103"s on the highways with my 107 hi compression build riding at an average speed of 75-85 mph. hope I have the same sort of results with the 117

Tman makes nice stuff. It is good for what your intending to do but man I sure hope you have everything else squared away or like HRK. said, you will be wrenching a lot.

    Who built the engine?

Lot of builders makes some nice stuff. But its who puts the combinations together.

And I have never been a fan of true duals.
Don't know many builder that have .

    Dyno tune using TTS Mastertune

If you are close to fl Doc performance is best in south

640 is the right can in a 117. Or 625

That is my thinking, dyno tune. Even though I hear good things about a pwrpro tuner, but.....sounds a bit too good

JMO a dyno tune is better when you have a good dyno tuner,
and when you're going bulk cubes or high HP build then having
it tuned specifically to the build is better than a canned map.

If you are just bolting on a filter and some pipes a canned map is
fine, but once you get into stroking, bigger cylinders, headwork cams
etc you need professional tuning to take advantage.

With the kind of coin your dumping into the bike, what's a few more dollars. Why not use the true duels on the street and get some pipes just for the track?

Not really in to track running. only run at track maybe 2-3 times a yr and that is against locals for $$. As you well know everyone with a streeable harley has the fastest street harley. I just like to stay ready and back my chatter up.

I am retired and could spend the money on women and booze. Why not spend it on bikes and let the bike handle the women.
