It's one hell of a life being married to a bike and a wife, just remember which one snuggles up to you on a cols winter night! Congradulations on getting the new mistress running, you'll love the ride and the riders you meet. It will open up a whole new world to you and the misses might just like throwing a leg over your new friend. That's why my plate says VYBR8ER

Congrats on getting it running. I have an old XS650 I'm working on. It sat in the garage for a long time. Felt great to hear it run again. Took it for a ride, brakes need work, clutch has questions, smokes alot, top end work should fix smoke. Collecting brake parts. As far as riding in the rain, it's still better than setting at home bitching about the weather.

Well when I get stuck in the dog house I go to the garage anyway. Otherwise it would be a real pain getting the sporty up the stairs in the house. Real tight turn at the bottom that I just don't think it would fit through. Guess we could crash on the couch :roflmao: .

Although I didn't enjoy my first ride being in the rain, I got to say I more than enjoyed it anyway. You are sure right LEO, riding wet is better than complainig in the dry.

I am already sure I will be getting another bike. This little piglet is nice and I enjoy the daylights out of it, but I want another already. I was planning on redoing this one over the winter anyway. New paint, changing out that rounded nasty sporty rear fender to a bobbed one, I just may have wifey design it how she wants it. Start putting pennies back and go try to find me another about this time next year, and give her the piglet. We both plan to take the beginner riding course first thing next spring. I know once that happens she will be wanting to ride more too.
