poker run

    Mentioned this in another thread and thought I'd put it where it belongs. Saturday at least 50 of us went on a poker run to benefit a guy who'd been in a bad motorcycle wreck. Happened a few miles from where I live near the town of Speed. He was passing an SUV and the driver turned left in front of him. They let him out of the hospital for a short time in a wheelchair to be with us when we all returned from the ride.

    We rode to several bars and the Harley dealership in Rocky mount, not staying any longer than a half hour at any one place. It was a good run because we spent most of the time in the saddle. Had a great 12 hour day out on the scoot with no problems and perfect weather. Couldn't have asked for a better day :D.
