Hmmmm.....I must be thinking of someone else's ride. Maybe a buddy you rode with who was in a photo you posted.

I think your temperature sensor ($25) for the f.i. is bad. Stuck on "cold temp" which keeps the cold start (enrichening) circuit on....and rich fuel mixture means bad gas mileage. Mine sticks occasionally, but goes back to normal after a wide-open blast down the highway for a few miles. I'm too lazy to replace it.

Constant high oil pressure is from a bad or clogged oil sending unit down by the oil filter. If you're NOT seeing excessive oil misting around the air filter, replace the sending unit ($20). If a lot of oil in air filter, you have 1 or 2 bad breather filter bonnet(s) (rubber diaphragm) in rocker box(es).

The senors were all checked at the dealer and showed OK. The sending unit was pulled off and replaced, same reading with a new one and when a seperate gauge was connected, 60 psi. They called Harley and Harley said, well should be OK but watch it close.

I know the stock oil pressure gauge in FL's are not even close to accurate. Unfortunately, H-D won't spend the extra $20 for a good one.

I'd still suspect your temp. sensor is bad. Does the idle fluctuate high a lot when motor is cold?

It ran really high all the time. The dealer removed the sending unit and connected a oil pressure gauge to it, same high pressure readings. The reading he got were all read after the motor was at operating temp. Sending unit was fine and they even put another one on. Some guy from Seattle bought the bike so it's his baby now.
