JB, skip the true duals, power hogs, take tons of tuning to get the bad areas
fixed, best bet is Fullsac X pipe (or Fuel Moto) and then American Exhaust
can change the baffles out with nice end caps on your stock mufflers for
way less than the dual setups

You buy true duals and you'll have over a grand in them

American Exhaust and Fullsac also take the stock headers and
gut the cat out (kills the heat issue) and change the baffles in the
stock pipes so they sound good, and then you ride around with
EPA stamped pipes that sound and flow well.

I agree I can't stand the rear floorboards, and I'd imagine if you
are Height Challenged then they really get in the way. Wife prefers the
pegs as well and up higher.

As for the tourpack CB you should look into George Andersons
relocation kit, it's very well made, gets great reviews and takes
about 30 min to install, lets you kick the tour pack back up to 2 inches

I attached his card, he doesn't have a web site but
many of the boards know him and say these are handmade
low production not chinese stamped out of weak metal parts.

That is so true, those Reinharts are expensive. There is a guy at my dealership that makes pipes for Harley's that will cost me half of what these RH's are. The cool thing about them is that the dealership will warranty them as well. Yep, foot pegs it is. Still not 100% sure on the TP, but as of now, the wife is saying no to it. No big deal either way for me on the tp.

I don't have any experience with a 103 but I'd look at something bolt in so you don't have to do any head work. I like S&S stuff they are usually on the cutting edge of cams and pistons. SE is probably your best bet so you can keep your warranty.
I'd never buy a white bike, looks to much like a chick bike, I am pretty much a black bike guy a little chrome but not to much, black never goes out of style. JMO
and pretty much a Vance & Hines exhaust guy, I like to use only proven stuff thatway it keeps me from haveing to change it later.

I like the white, but not sure if I would want it on my bike. I have no experience with V&H so I am open to suggestions except a 2 into 1.. :roflmao:

Propipe HS works very well and has a deep tone, not too loud, and you can get a quiet baffle if it bothers you good quality stuff...

103 is HD stuff and if you get an 11 or 12 you want to be sure its got the 255 cams in it better power than just stuffing on bigger 103 pistons....

I remember that well. We couldn't grey market Canadian bikes back to the US when the dollar was low. better balanced market now.

Dude that bought my bike traded it in with 1036 miles for one of the Road Glide Custom.
    I didn't understand it.
He said he thought it would make a beter touring bike.

And all the 2012 touring bikes will have a 103 engine.

The Ultra fairing is a well manured beautiful bike. The Road Glide is the one I have a hard time dealing with. Street Glide is the same style of fairing as a a Ultra but stripped of all its beauty, class and elegance. ! :D
