The wife is starting to get us involved in something now that I thought was going to wait until spring, but she wants to do it now instead. :banghead: The bike is going to happen, but looks like I may have to flip flop priorities. :banghead:

I don't think that there is but I want to have a happy home I may just have to give in...:banghead: Although for what it is that she wants to do will benefit the whole family and I don't have much problem with it, other than timing.

It is what it is. :(

Yeah it is something that we need to do, but it was a major "Has to be the right time," thing. I think that it is a little early yet, but I guess we will see how it goes.

I thought that I would never say this but CB is 100% correct that early spring would be the best time for me to get the FLHX as then I will be able to have almost 10 times the down payment that I would if I bought it October and also because it would be nearing the snow season as well, the bike would just be sitting there and it would drive me crazy.. I guess I got a little anxious huh? :D

Yep like a friend said, "I've only got so many years of riding left, and I"m going to ride the bike I like, the way I like it."

Then his wife said, sure honey that's a good idea.
just so you know while you're out riding your bike
there'll be someone here riding me..... :roflmao::roflmao:

Gotta keep those home fires put out, that's for sure. But it's just like having kids......when you're hot to do something, it's never the right time, or you're broke. Life is too short to wait for the "Right Time". There will always be something more sensible to do than to just have some fun.

In retrospect, you still love your kids no matter how broke you were at the time, right?

The thing that is happening is that I guess I am going to be looking for a new house. This is something that we need, and have been talking about for awhile but like I said, we were going to do this in spring time rather than earlier. This isn't so bad, but I guess I have to balance the pros and cons to this.

I am not broke, other than the fact that I just spent 35-40k on two different vehicles.

Sure wish I could PM HRK though as there a few questions that I would like to ask him private..:D
