    I was talking to Hot rider as I always do an we both came to the conclusion that we need a Touring bike. I have three choices of what to get. Now that we seem to be getting more and more into the "road trips," it seems inevitable and just makes sense to do this. I am going to try like crazy to get to the dealership on Monday to take a couple out for a ride so I can best make a decision for when the time comes.

    ALL, and I mean ALL input that has been provided here has been a huge asset. Now it is time to make a decision for what it is that Hot Rider and I want.

    Give Johnny a break! For most people, this is a major decision whether or not to spend that much money on ANYTHING.....not just a house. You may have a lot more cash available for luxury items like this, but 90% of Americans don't. Even with plenty of resources, it's still scary to commit to that payment.

    Providing a home for his family is a young man's first priority. An expensive motorcycle is way down the list, unless you're his rich uncle and he's your favorite nephew.

    Yeh I am not so sure that will happen. Like it is our fault that they don't know how to budget..:rant: The government doesn't dictate the interest rate anyway... The Fed Reserve does. I haven't heard anything out of Geitners mouth for a long time.
