2000- early 2003 had the best lower ends . and the ones you will find had the gear drives done already . if it whines real loud they were not done correctly . mine you can just hear them when its hot . 36.000 miles on the glide now and i still take it to red line . the lower end she is a good one . stock oil pump and she still has oil 32 psi oil pressure hot at 1800.rpm and my crank never had run out problems. to many late model cranks have problems ill keep the old girl as long as i can . i will never by another b motor as long as i live that deuce cost me an arm and both legs and almost a divorse. big mistake building that b motor big mistake!!!!!!

find your self an early model twin cam with an alfa motor and you have yourself a real nice bike . with coin still in your pocket my 03 next to an 0 10 you cant tell one from the other . except the inner faring and radio . maybe a lite or trim piece . and if i want a six speed i can buy one i find no need . my 88 with cams and head work. runs with a 110 no problem . so dont drop all that coin on a late model bike .

103 is easy just pistons and cyl,
They can add it for a few bucks,
even the oil cooler, also have them
pop in the SE255 and it will stand up
and beat it's crankcase at the lights...

True, but here is the thing my man, if I can get the 103" in the 011, that means I shouldn't have to pay extra for those things. (cylinders, pistons, and cams), already has it, not only that, then I get the cruise control and the abs for cheaper than what the 96" will be if you compare dollar for dollar.

Yes, I know. :D Seems to be about the same amount of money to convert a 96 to a 103 vs. just buying the 103" right away.

The longer you wait on the 2011 the less likely you'll find the Sedona Orange. Was just trying to help. They do have the red and Merlo Streetglide with the 103 in stock, but they have been sell fast.

Was in the HD dealer today picking up some parts to service the 103 and they said the Orange one Sold today and they were working a deal with a guy on the Merlo one. You want that 103 Orange one you may have to wait for a used one. Good luck
