You ride a new bike with the new frame and put it through the paces, you'll be wanting one. But spend your money on a fancy paint job and you'll never know the difference. How much did you say they was wanting for it.

Little Johnny is going to School and has short legs .
He has a fever and has his mind set.
Don't think he wants to save his money for a while and git a new bike.
To me there's nothin like a new bike .
And the changes since 09 are great.
If you ain't been here you can't hear FLHT.
Of he looked at the interest on a used bike vers a new bike and the difference in the payments he might see a little light.

Comon Johnny, look at the price of a Brand new limited.
Absolutey no wear. A 2 yrs warranty. Better interest rate.
And all the new things that comes on it brother.
Flhtbiker and me would not guide you wrong.
We've just been at this a little longer than you.
Start on the top and take off what you don't want.
But give a new bike time. They are truely the best bang for the buck.

This bike only has 3300 on it, how much wear can there be? It is basically a brand new bike???

Hey FLHT, I have been on the new frames, not sure what is so impressive about it?

JB, CB is right the 2011 limited is a better bank for the buck. Plus they are dealing to get rid of all remaining 2011 bikes before the 2012's are here. 23,900 for a limited. Has heated grips to. CB, is right you can get a better interest rate then on a used one. But if your mind is set, its set.

No, it isn't set, if I were to buy a used bike this would be it, but I would most likely buy new, then it would be an FLHX..:D

Even if you went and rode one you wouldn't understand because after riding a Sporster any bigger bike would feel better. Not trying to slight your bike but once you start riding a bigger bike you'll never look back. :D

The new bikes has a new frame, Hd has needed this new frame for a long time.
It has no flex when you go into the curves. That within itself is a hell of a lot.
The new bikes has more pistons in the calipers for better stoppin power.
The 6 speed tranny is improved.
I wouldn't lie to you Johnny or try to guide you wrong.
I know you have a fever and you can't hear and are lookin for excuses.
But a Limited is a hell of a bike to beat.
The 2011 limited has to be hands down the best bike I've ever owned and runs great once you git them broke in.
I really love mine.It runs smooth too.

All the 2012 coming out at the end of the month will have 103 engines.
I really like the Tourpac on my bike and use the heck out of it.
I had a detachable on the last bike and when I took it off the OL and me wished we had it back on.
You can carry everything in the saddlebags and tourpac and the tourpack wrack.
    The ride is killer smoothe.
I know yer young and want a sports car kinda bike. But the limited rocks brother.
Got a buddy down the street at the end of the block who hasa 2010 Screaming EAgle Street Glide, The 1st thing he put on it was a tourpac.
Its detachable, but he never leaves home without it. Never.
His OL has a 2010 Ultra Trike.

Now you are on to something CB. I like the SG and I would put the detachable tour pak on it, upgrade the exhaust and maybe some other small things to it. This SE Eglide that I am looking at doesn't seem to fit the "race car" persona. I thought that the 010 handled really awesome in the twisties, that is why I am interested in that one.

If you buy a new limited or a 11 model.
You can probaly git 1000 in house credit if you try.
It has a lot better ride than the Street Glide.
Its smoother too. All in all it has a lot of things on it that the SG don't too.
YOu have a Wife think about her.
With the tourpack she can lean back on it and have a nice ride too.
And there is room for her to take whatever she wants.
My wife doen't believe how much better she likes out new limited than any bike we have owned or rode.
And I've rode every bike Harley owns. I got to like 4 Demo Days a year to keep up with it.
And I've been on a 2011 SE street glide and a 2011 SE ultra and a 2011 Road Glide.
I'm not willing to give HD 35,000 and up for a bike, but I will give them what they want for a limited.
A limited is a super buy.
You don't realize it cause you don't own one.

My buddy down the street Zan has a 2010 Street Glide. We ride a lot of twisties. He rides solo and I ride with my wife. I can ride right next to him.
He isn't able to take the curves any faster than me.
He gits on the interstate and runs and I'm right besides him.

Got a buddy with a Deuce, he come over and rode my last bike this past winter.
1st thing out of his mouth. Man now I understand why you can run on the curves do easy. Yer bike handles the curves like I can't believe.
And the fairing and big windshield knocks the wind off and makes it nice to ride. I didn't even git cold.
The hard lowers rock when its 40* outside.

Johnny I can lead you to water, and show it to you brother.
But I can't make you drink if you don't want to.

I guess I just have to come out and say it..... I think that the Limited is an Ugly Bike!! and I do not care about what it all has. I would rather buy a bike that fits me both in style and configuration over a bike that would unzip my fly. I just don't give a crap about all of the add on stuff, keeping it simple is my style, an FLHX is what I like and is most likely what I will buy when I am ready. Price doesn't make that much of a difference to me, but does a play a role, although a very small role....:gah:
