I saw a review of an install where these GIF images were, so I saved them figuring someday I'd need them to illustrate my point in a discussion just like this.:D....I just wish they were bigger.

Just picked up the powdercoated stuff last night as well as my widened fender. I will get working on her tomorrow after a quick trip to Jersey City, NJ to look at a new machine for my shop. :D (If you've ever been to J.C. you'd know why I added those faces!!) I live in the sticks....and prefer it that way. Should be Ok....It's daytime and I'm bringing a friend, and I might bring a "heater" with me as well.....I'll update with more pics after I get some more work done. Thanks for askin'

Nothing yet for brightening the night...I have to fit the fender yet. I got started fitting the fender and then realized I have to cut it to fit around the old struts that were cut off. It was too hard to do, hold both sides perfectly lined up, mark it without moving etc., by myself, and the wife didn't look too enthusiastic about coming out to the shop at 11:00pm, so I put it off till another day. However, I got the rear fork on, struts on, and everything is ready to be assembled. Just need to fit that fender.... Busy as hell with work too right now so I kinda have to budget what little time I have left over. I'll get there :D Keep ya posted!

By the way....Boo-Hiss on the Patriots, they shoulda lost!

I guess so....I get tired of hearing how the Patriots and TB are the greatest thing since sliced bread. What do you expect from a Raiders fan.... Yea, Yea, I know they suck, but I've always been a a fan.:roflmao:

    Fat tire modification

Hey voodoochild, were you still looking for a taillight to fit under that wide fender? If so check this out. It's made for a Honda CBR but looks like the shape you were talking about. Plus it incorporates a turn signal into it. Looks like something you could work in under your custom fat fender.

    bike lift

Voodoochild, Nice bike and it isn't even together yet. Tell me about the bike lift. A friend of mine came over last summer and put my bike on a lift for me to show me and he was a big man and he almost lost my bike on the lift. So i figure how can i manage a lift in the event the bike starts to go over there is no way i have strength to get it back should it start to fall. and i looked at the craftsman lifts for bikes and they look so punie and not sound enough for me anyway to handle my bike on but that lift looks sound and wide and all that. where did you purchase it. I can't get my bike on the center stand it is too heavy for me. thanks fireitup

Hey Fire, gee I'm so glad I answered that question for you....:p Anyway, when you call the store make sure you ask them if it's on sale. I said to the girl on the phone something about my buddy getting one on sale and then she told me they were. So I think if you don't ask they won't tell. Good luck. BTW, it's easy to get the bike on that lift, just roll it on and put the kick stand down. Then get some tie downs to strap it in place. I have climbed on my lift with the bike while it's been in the air, and it doesn't tip over, it's pretty sturdy. (Keep in mind I'm only 165lbs, but it was still sturdy)

    bike lift

thanks for the advice. i weigh in at 124 pounds. so you can see why i would be afraid to try and get my bike on a lift. but this one sounds fearless. and i will be able to do basic maintenane at least. and my bike is ready done at the shop. they reopen tuesday. will go pay them and take it for a spin with the new brake lines. hope it ain't snowin. it will mess up my mascara. fireitup

Iron, dude I am so lame.......I have been working 7 days a week forever it seems and have barely even seen my bike, not to mention work on it. Like I told Chuck, I just got the duct work for my heat a couple days ago and haven't even done that yet. I am desperately trying to get my friends house finished up so they can move back in, they had a fire last year and the house was heavily damaged. We are so close to finishing I can almost taste it, plus I need the $$$!! I will get it done, I just need to get that house done first. I DID order the HB125 chain tensioner and will get that in as well. I will keep everyone updated as soon as I get off my a** and get it done. Thanks for askin'!:D
