Saw him 2 years ago in Vegas and got to spend some time over a few beers talking. Yea, wished he would have stuck around but understand sense he doesn't own a Harley and we pretty much have turned into a Harley site.

well i can't see what sensor woul the Power commander read wrong. The only sensor it reads is the throttle position. And all have a signal range 0V-5V.
And you can adjust it! The fully closed position and the wide open.

If i would to replace the whole ECU unit i think i woild rather buy a Yoshimura ECU since a have a GSX-R street bike and Yoshimura makes almost all possible mods mostly for suzuki GSX-R :)

Never heard of that Japaneese tuner .
As you can tell I haven't kept up with Metric bikes.

On a Thunder-Max. What they taught me when I took one of their classes.
And what a builder that uses them taught me.
The very most important thing when you look at a MAP is to git the cam that is the closest. The cam controls the Ign timing and the injector timing.
If you don't have bad pipes, the unit will tune when you ride it.
If you have a problem., You can take a copy of the map, email it to Zippers and they can make changes to it and re email it to you.
All you do is upload it to the bike.
Zippers is super good when you call them of talkin you threw what you are having a problem with.

I've worked with computers since 07 and non has been anywhere near The Thndermax.
The site I showed at Dr Vtwin has the best price on them.
You can see the price online.
You can not use the Throttle by wire unit on yer bike.
And do not git the 50 state legal model. Git the race model .
YOu can call Zippers and talk to them and they will tell you which model is for yer bike.

If you want to pay retail.
You can call Zippers and they will preload the map in the Thunder-Max for yer bike. So everything will be pretty much plug and play.
YOu can take yer header pipes off and have bungs tig welded in them just like we did for my buddys bike.
There is a youtube video showing how to measure and drill for the bungs.
    Its pretty straight forward.
