Yes with a 107 motor holmes. Not a stock motor.
And that is why I stopped with a 107.
Wished you was here to ride it.
And you are so close to Fuelmoto. Must be nice.

Good to hear. You going to have it tweaked a bit on the dyno sometime or leave as is?

OK, I'm pretty dumb when it comes to this stuff,so may I ask? If you liked the ThunderMax and wanted a back-up, why not get another Thunder Max? ANd which system performs more to your liking?

No, If I wanted to do that, I would buy the wide band oxygen sensors and let them tweak the map.
The Power Vision can't auto update the map like the Thunder-Max can. It does updates as you ride. And you have to stop and let the PV flash them to the Stock ECM.
The TM can read the map and do updates and write them to the TM module as you ride.

The Power Vision is a backup tuner for my Thunder-Max.
If my Thunder-Max goes bad. I pull the ECM fuse and take the Thunder-Max ECM out and stick the factory ECM with the flashed map of the Power Vision in.
Put the Ecm fuse back in.

The Thunder-Max makes the bike run harder and faster than the Power Vision.

There is a difference in a Piggy back system and a Flash tuner.

The Power commanderII and power commander V are Piggy back systems.
The Power Vision is a Flash Tuner. It flashes a program in the Factory ECM.
And it marries to the Stock ECM.
Thus you CAN NOT take it off if you sell the bike and put it on another bike.

With the Thunder-Max, you remover the stock ECM and install the TM.
And when you sell the bike you can take it off and put it on another bike.
You do get into problems if you have a cable bike, and go to a Throttle by Wire bike and all. Two different tuners.
On the bikes above my 2011.
I would connect Thunder-Heart in Tennessee and talk to them.

I have had Power Commander III, Power Commander V. And the Power Vision .
The Power Commander III, and the Power Commander V are piggy back tuners.
Thus they plug in-between the stock ecm and the factory wiring harness.

And I've had more than one Thunder-Max.
I like the Thunder-max better. But if you do not know anything you might get in a bind.

If I was anybody else and I bought one of the units. I would get the Thunder-Max or the Power Vision from Fuelmoto where you can get free tech support and free maps.
Elsewise you are on your own if you don't know anything about tuners.

And any tuner can give you problems . Or the ECM can crash.

For the record. This last post of yours CB is probably the best written and easiest to understand that you have written about the TM and Power. vision. Thanks I appreciate it!

So the Power Vision acts much like the Harley Tuner as it is a flash system and also marries to the ECM.

I have seen Stock ECM crash and have to be replaced. Guess you have to replace your power Vision if this happens.

What is so hard to understand what I say. I type in English and talk in english.
I just have a lot of Redneck in me.

Do you not understand Redneck talk from Northern Alabama or what .[IMG]
