    you guys crack me up..........i guess i am the black sheep of this crew too.............i would like to think that my bike made it 79,000 miles without problems that most people incurr.............because of the checklist theory...........i also wash her before i even start her up.......my way of checking things out.......plus the ole girllikes to shine............as far as the back tire goes......every 3 months my wife budgets for a new dunlop..........
    da$$ that barnett racing clutch..........soft smile......nothin like a big dresser doin a smokey burn out!!!!!!!!!!!!! life is soooooooooooooo good!!!!!!

    I'm right there with Texas Road Glide. If you set yerself enough time to wash the scoot down, you also have time to look at things in fine detail. That's usually when I find something needing "tweaking".
    Look at it from this aspect: Your scooter is a major investment (at least for most of us, some call it a "hobby"...freakin yuppies!) Most of us saved for a long while for the $'s to buy the scoot. What the h*ll is a little time spent to look over your investment before each ride?
    Nowadays, just being on the road with the cagers can be almost suicidal, so why not be sure your'e prepared for what could be coming your way?
    Summary...if you're not taking a few extra minutes to look your scoot over as a pre-ride, you're asking for crap to happen.
