That's a great idea FLHTBIker, I will try that. I will know for sure if the ground wire I put on is bad.
OKAY, all you smartasses out there, if you so smart, answer this question if you can:
Why does the horn (and also the hood and engine block of some cars) have a flat braided type of ground connector and not a regular twisted insulated type of wire for the ground, Huh, huh?? Just as I thought, you don't know, do you!!! HaHa!

it reduces ground noise or electrostatic discharge, it also provides a very low resistance path to ground. the properties of braid also allows for greater amp flow and creates a greater heat dissipation over regular copper wires...........how did i do?????

Um, ChuckTX, you just answered the question as to why my horn has a delay.....
I'm using the wrong type ground wire. There's too much resistance which takes the electron longer to pass thru the thinner wire which is causing a slight delay (I think).
That must be the answer because the previous horn worked fine with the braided ground wire (before it died that is).
    Thank you!
    Very impressive sir!

Did the Stebel come with the round mount to mount right in place of the other stock horn. And the wiring harness and relay

Yea but do you see the black mounting bracket that lets the horn mount on the stock rubber mount. Did it come with that.
Hadn't seen it at our dealers.:gah:

IF you attach that horn to the Tmax it will auto tune it's
DB level to your ears for you, all you do it ride around for
a couple of hours with the horn blowing and it will setup
    properly :p:p
