It'll be daylight soon and I'll take a looksee. Woke up this morning with thoughts of things to try . . . curious that the tail light/brake light went out. Looked at the radar loop just now and a patch of rain just went over us. Naturally, it's dry everywhere else.

I tend to agree with Cowboy could have flooded. Check the fuse then head towards the end of the line.

Started right up this morning; definitely flooded last night. Replaced the tail light bulbs (both old ones were black) and I was on my way to breakfast in the next town over :D.

I check them every morning before I shove off, so it had to happen sometime that same day. Didn't get pulled over for it or rear ended (I was riding at night on the way home) - angel watching over me .

From now on, I'll check them every time I start up. Only takes a second or two.

In other news today, Tattoo gave me a new cap for my oil bag. This one has a dip stick on it. I had to grind about an inch off the end so it would fit, and with my dremel, ground a new level line. I can check the oil with the bike tilted over on the kickstand .
